Mastering project planning, WBS and CPM scheduling
Learning objectives and topics
The course allows to master the techniques of planning and decomposition of the scope of work and of the “responsibilities” (WBS – Work Breakdown Structure and OBS – Organization Breakdown Structure), of the analysis and breakdown of costs (CBS – Cost Breakdown Structure) and the CPM techniques (critical path method); the project planning and control process is illustrated in the various phases, providing indications on the operating procedures and the responsibilities involved in processes. This course is aimed to set up the project controls system, and it be followed by two subsequent advanced courses regarding the management of costs and risks.
